Timothy C. Hannigan, Esq.
Tim is a graduate of Siena College and the University at Buffalo Law School. He joined the firm after completing a judicial clerkship as an Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department.
During law school, Tim was a member of UB Law's National Trial Competition and National Civil Trial Competition teams, and received the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. At Siena, he was a four-year letter winner with the Siena College Men's Division I Lacrosse Team, and served as Captain during his senior year.
Since joining the firm, Tim has tried civil cases and spearheaded the motion and appellate practice of the firm, handling cases in both state and federal court. He serves as general counsel for various fire districts and not-for-profit fire companies, and has represented not-for-profit EMS and fire service providers in litigation and in administrative proceedings before New York State agencies. Tim is a frequent lecturer for statewide and local fire service entities with respect to legal considerations for the fire service, and has also served as Hearing Officer for Regional EMS Councils in Certificate of Need proceedings.
Tim is a volunteer firefighter for the Elsmere Fire Company "A", Inc., in Delmar, New York and he also serves as an Assistant Coach for the Bethlehem High School Varsity Boys Lacrosse team.
